My interest has petered off in it, but it's an ok anime, one that I get every time someone reminds me or I see one of these threads.
Last I heard there was no set limit for the series. I have a feeling it's going to be the next dragonball in terms of length and spinoffs.
My only beef is that fights really drag sometimes and can be DBZ-esque, but it's all good.
Only thing the fight scenes have is that they can go on for awhile, but its not filler space in naruto.
Or, that's the response when I asked in the Shin-Otaku IRC room.
