Tailor made for you...in that you can romantically interact with people that don't exist?

Forget WoW?

*calls the Crazy Police on OP*

I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

But... Nobunaga's Ambition was a TBS for the NES, how did it get to be a MMORPG?

It's just the name for the game, he WAS a real guy. Lots of fighting during the "Age Of War" in the 16th century.

Nobunaga Oda was a (maybe the most) powerful warlord during the Warring States period.

He did eventually take his own life amidst a burning Osaka, when he was betrayed by one of his officers from the Akechi clan.
Karnaj would probably be the person to ask for more information.

That being said, I adore Koei, and this might be worth looking into in the future. The graphics style kinda reminds me of FFXI in a few ways.

Akechi betrayed him too, like in Samurai Warriors.

I wonder: If you make a Samurai character (apparently there's 7 classes?), are you stuck using swords or can you use different weapons?

[EDIT- Oh, and according to Samurai Warriors, it was Mitsuhide Akechi that betrayed Nobunaga.]

Thief: "I have come to a realisation. Dragons are not real in a general sense, but they may exist in certain specific cases."
Fighter: "Like how quantum mechanics describes how subatomic particles can spontaneously pop into existence at random!"
Thief: "No, that's stupid and stop making up words."

Mitsuhide Akechi would, of course, be a member of the Akechi family who betrayed him,

And if you look in the screenshots, I see armored people using spears and naginatas and staves and stuff, so I dunno what this indicates.

It indicates the game having spears and naginatas and staves and stuff.

Yay! Naginatas!

I hope you can be a ninja in that game. I wanna be a naginata-weilding ninja, damnit!

That'd be the dumbest thing ever...unless the ninja were also a dragon.

Because you're going to be really stealthy carrying around a fucking polearm.

Though that's not quite as ridiculous as EQ rogues dual-wielding spears, wearing chainmail, and still being able to hide and sneak.

Haven't you figured it out already? There are two kinds of ninjas. The kick-ass ones that are SO kick-ass, that they don't have to worry about stealth. They just walk right in and do what they do best, kick ass.

Then there are the assassin ones. While not as kick-ass as the kick-ass ninja, they probably kill more people than any ammount of kick-ass ninjas combined.

Unless you are Ryu Hayabusa. Assassin ninjas can't even touch that guy.
