Is there a site like ddrfreak.com that I can go to in order to find Pop'n Music machine locations in my area? I'd really like to give it a shot.

Also, what's the cheapest way to go about getting a home version of Pop'n Music? This game looks so freakin' fun.

UBB pwned.

Hint: The chances of a Pop'n machine being near your location are between slim and none. Unless you live in Japan. Which I doubt you do. Pop'n just doesn't make much money in America, and as such is rarely imported.

As for a home version, the cheapest possible way would probably be to mod your PS2, import an older version of Pop'n, and then get a decent controller.

I've wanted to mod my ps2 to play imports, but I have no idea how. So uh...how do you do it?

What is Pop'n Music..? I think there might be one in the Toronto arcade... I thin kit might be the game my BF spends hours playing when he visits...If it's the one I'm thinking of

It's like DDR, but you play it with your hands, and there are more buttons. Six or something. Maybe more.

Ah.. I was thinking it was one of the drumming games... Canada has the one that America can't release cause the licensed a similar import from someone else. According to my BF, the one that Canada has is better.. *shrugs* o_O

I think I've seen the game you're talking about....

You don't neet to mod your PS2 if you don't want to. You can just get the Swap Magic disks and you can play all the import games you want on your US PS2.

It's what I use to play Guitar Freaks 4th Mix/Drummania 3rd Mix and also Beatmania IDDX 6th Style.

Holy shit, cool!

Have you had any problems with those? Because that's insanely nifty.

I have had no problems with the swap discs. I know that with some PS2s you don't need the little card thing.

Edit: Gud spelling.
