OR he's a pussy and his partner in writing the script added to cool dark parts. When his partner left after empire strikes back we got ewoks which were ok because they were able to kickass and roast storm troopers for food, but then we got Jar Jar and I cried.

And 9 years after the Original Releases in theatres we got the new Print Releases, 12 years after the Original release we got the Box set Release, 15 years after the originals we got the THX Box Set Versions of the Video release, and 20 years after the original release we got the extended edition re-re-re-releases. 
Lucas knows he can farm this franchise for all its worth, I seriously doubt this to be the end of the "Special Release Super Box Set all Inclusive Next Edition Releases" ad nauseum. [ 04-02-2004: Message edited by: Faelynn LeAndris ]
