The entrence.
The inside looking out.
The outside apartment which was occupied by the owner's brother and his friend the first week we were there. The bedroom's in the back, not open to the outside, but the kitchen/dinning room was.
The bridge out front. You can see the anchorage, and frigit birds. Peurto Vallarta's across the bay from us.
The owner's dog, Paco
And his cat, Ellenor.
Down the road the place was at. It's in this little fishing village called La Cruz. Very beautiful area. The only thing is, La Cruz is an hour behind Peurto Vallarta... so, it got intresting when trying to plan and get ready to go out and do things over across the bay in PV.
And before someone asks about the beach since this place was right on the water...
Aside the rocky beach, you wouldn't want to swim there anyways. The town's sewage is drained into the water from the *very* small sewage plant.
The little lighthouse dealy for the anchorage
More boats there.
The local's fishing boats. (no they don't fish there, they go way out past the bay.)
And here's a lone Bird of Paradise!
This guy almost went into the appartment (Had a habbit of leaving the doors open because the latch was a pita to use)
And these little guys did get into the place. Though, they were all over in everyone of the appartments.
Another senic veiw, this time out on the Pacific and not in the bay.
Local housing in one area.
A nicer beach out on the ocean.
At one point, for the regatta, they treated everyone to a traditional hawaii/polonesian dance performance.
And out come the guys!
The skimpy dress hopping over moving wooden poles dance
The coconuts.
The outisde to the place they held these festives, Paradise Village, has caged felines. Two black jaguars (didn't get a shot of them)Two tigers...
And a poor lone cougar.
And two rare pics.
Tada! There's alot more mexico pic's, but these lot are the best. I have an AVI to share to, but it's a huge download, so uhm.. If ya'll really wanna see the guys dance on the stage, I can post the link...
Glad you had a great time, Trillee.
The Mexican landscape is beautiful!
Oh and welcome back Trillee! =)

Warm and sunny sweetness!! What I wouldn't give to be there right now in that beautiful weather instead of this cold
I hear ya. Goin from 90's to 30's in one fell swoop was a huge system shock.
I so much would rather be in the tropics then this soggy cold place. *nods* [ 03-31-2004: Message edited by: Trillee ]

How was da food?!?!
depends on where you go. There were a few places that kept their foods mild for tourists who didn't like that extra hot spice. But over all the places I did go to were veddy good.
The Margaritas were a let dow, put the tequila sunrises were exceptional.
