So.. they made all of the "Fabled" mobs in the low 30s right? But made them beasty GoD style mobs to throw people off.

One fatal flaw in their plans...

It seems Rangers...

...And Rogues...

...Are taking advantange of it.

Something I saw and couldnt help but chuckle. You'd think they would have thought of something like that.

They aren't all in the low 30's. Fabled Ishva Mal conned teal to me each time I took him down.

And I fail to see the problem with this. There -are- going to be lines for a fair portion of the Fabled stuff.

Fabled Frenzied Ghoul isn't exactly a cake walk either... dark blue to me at 56 every time. And since it was like 98% melees with a few Cleric alts, we had to really swarm him. Had 2 spawn at once after they finally fixed the friggin spawn and we ended up wiping.

Fabled Ghoul Lord wiped us once with 24 people as well. =\ They kept insisting that we pull him and then when they finally succeeded in just pulling the bastard, everyone dropped like flies.

Even at 65 with most buffs the goul lord smacked me around pretty well. But once the healer got there we took him down easly.

Except that most of the fabled mobs are either undead, or not humanoid tagged. We can't assassinate them all

Ill have you know that Primadonna is a twink halfling ranger. I used to play with him (well its a female toon)

used to run around in all pink armour god only knows what he looks like now but since he has had the benifit of time loot since last october im sure he is one of the best geared rnagers out there.

AD rocks, oh and its a Rallos ranger

They still haven't added "OMG!!!" to the fatal bow shot message? I've always thought that's what it needed, since the caps are so ridiculous.

I remember clearing the lord hallways and most of AM by myself at 54.. then getting my ass beat to hell by the lord when I tried to solo him.

Guess my level 9 fear undead spell doesn't work that well, haha. I killed about 20 people getting out..

Tiolas and I camped the Fabled Flowing Black Silk Sash together for about 48 hours or so straight (Taking shifts at some points) to get one for her berserker. She was sleeping when our turn finally came up, so I was on Alludar helping to kill the Frenzy when it popped.

The raid had about 24 people in it, but someone ninja looted the sash while I was logging off of Al and onto her 'zerker. >_< I've never been so mad at anyone.

I've gotta say that i have been pleasantly suprised by the anniversary stuff so far. I've been working on the Skavenger hunt and have enjoyed myself immensly.

Having to wander around trying to remember how to get to Lguk again to help a guildie get his FFBSS and get my Collector's Tongue was actually enjoyable.

Gonna try and finish up with it tommorow, if i don't go upgrade shopping ([celebrate]AthXP 1.4 512mb ram and Geforce 4 TI4500 to AthXP 2.8 1gig ram and <insert upgrade card here>[/celebrate]) or Tuesday after raids.

I'd never been to LGuk, to be honest. I didn't have a paladin back before the Ghoulbane quest, so I didn't have to whack the Shin Lord, and I got my own account when Kunark came out so I farted around in Kunark on my iksar monk for ages til Lyinar and my other friends got into it.

I bought my ghoulbane for 1kp and a pair of dwarven work boots that I camped myself..

Those were hard to get.

Edit eqstr_us.txt, line 5745 to say '%1 performs a FATAL BOW SHOT!! OMG!!' and you will get your wish

The change will be reverted the next time you run the patcher
