Ok, so I got my tax return back today, and I'm looking to get a few games for the PS2.

I've already got Diseaga and one of the Virtual On series (I'm slightly addicted to it) that I'm going to get...but I need a third.

I need some suggestions for some good games (with good replay value).

I enjoy fighting games, shooters (i.e. R Type), RPGs, Some racing games (I have GT3), Snowboarding, and the action/adventure games.

So, what's the best of the best?

Prince of Persia is pretty fun, if you haven't played it already. It lacks much replay value though.

I was looking at Suikoden 3, it's got my interest

FFX and FFX-2 I have...and I rented Prince of Persia, got 60% through in the 2 days. I think it's best I don't buy PoP. one of those games I'd play once and leave it alone

MK: DA. It's not as deep as SC2 but quite fun to play.
Life... is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this undefinable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-crunching nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers.

Either of the Baldur's Gate games are fun if you like hack n slash. 2 has more characters to choose from, although I find it considerably less challenging then 1.

R-Type Final is too good to pass up. I suggest buying that now!

1 and 2 are better, but good luck finding them. They're getting as hard to find as a mint copy of xenogears.
