This Monitor

Is currently being considered as a purchase. (I need something cheap or I'd go for a Viewsonic or a Trinitron.) Does anybody have any experience with MAG monitors and can tell me if this is a bad idea?

A 21" that costs LESS than $80?... Something's not right, there.

I've had expirence... bad expirence

But to be honest, in a year LCD's will be like 100 bucks... why not buy a cheap ass 17 crt to get you buy until then? Go for it.

I currently have a 19" MAG that I bought from Best Buy not too long ago. It works great, and gives me a crisp, clear picture every time I use it.

Aye, I'm on the 19" MAG right now, no probs. I find the colors a lot more vibrant than on the other ones around the house.

So that's three to... one sorta vote. Thanks, all. I'll be buyin' it.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm buying this to tide me over until I can afford an LCD, because I currently have *NO* decent monitors at all.

I currently Have that Monitor for my New puter, It is pretty much an update of the one thats been sitting on my Dad's for the last 5 years. Aside from a color change ,th only thing new is this totally useless Vivid Picture. Hit it once it zooms the scren in, hit again it Britghens the screen, hit it a third time it "warms" the picture of the screen.

I have a MAG DJ700 that I got back when 17" monitors were like $300...(96-97 I think). Not a flicker or glitch out of it yet. I also still have the 17" Smile monitor I bought for $329 a year before the MAG. Both monitors have served me well beyond their warranty periods and survived 4 moves in my truck. The only reason I have not gone to a 19" or larger is because these two monitors will not die.
