I can't wait till the remake of Epic 40k is out. I never tried it the first time around, but the new edition looks promising...
Actually, in regard to this RTS, I was talking with a rep at the local Games Workshop store the other month (just before FireWarrior was released) and he told me that apparently there is also a PC version of W40K being developed which would enable folks to create their own armies, and then fight online. Allegedly GW was working with Blizzard for this, and it would include Blizzard.Net ladders etc.
They were doing this cos there are apparently a large number of folks who would like to play W40K, but dont want the expense (or have the ability) of buying, building, painting an army (like me.. I suck at fine detail stuff like this.. but I'd love to play W40K)
Is this RTS that game he spoke of I wonder?
Chaos Space Marines are cooooool

Likely.Chaos Space Marines are cooooool
If I was to start collecting an army, then so far I am thinking I'd go Necrons... (mostly because they appear to need the least painting..)
but realistically I think I'd really like to go Tau. They look really cools in some of the color schemes in the Sourcebook.

Hopefully it wont suck as much as FireWarrior does..
Yeah
I can't believe I actually paid for that game

They are not as that hard to paint, Just time consumeing. Tau I figure would be easy, For that anime look you keep everything nice and clean.
Though i don't think Blizzard and GamesWork shop Will be doing anythingn together soon, I just have this feeling that Gamesworkshop doesn't like Blizzard to much. I noticedx in the TFT they renamed the Steamtank, and a few other units that had a close name to Warhammer stuff, and the took out the Warhammer inspired speech. Blizzard can't be to happy with this new game, It will probally hold back work on Starcraft 2.
That being said, What did this thread do to earn the crap rateing? I have Keep seeing that rateing pull up more, and more often on normal threads.

Has a crap rating because only 1 person voted. And they gave it a crap.
Yeah, I know, but the thread was only on the third page. [ 03-16-2004: Message edited by: Tegadil ]

I suck at really fine detail work like that though... no matter how much time and care I try to take..

This I would like to see, maybe start you out with a command unit and two troops, just as the table top game. But as you played and won you would earn enough points to add more units, more troops, elites, heavy, and fast attack units.
