Ok, this seems a bit much to me:
According to an article linked from games.Slashdot.com, a guy spent about $3000 to have the "Master Sword" from Zelda made by Scottish Blacksmith Rob Miller of Castle Keep

You know, this just makes me think, I would have waited for the Cheapy Knock off from the same people that brought you the decorative (but unbalanced) swords from "Lord of the Rings".

Now I know what I'm going to do with some of the money I win if I win the lottery.

Shit...I want one of those

I'd rather have the small sword made from the first cover. It's cuter... more retro.

I personally would have liked one of the swords from the Final Fantasy Series, like FF7 or FF8.

Ya know they used to have Cloud's Sword replica at Swords Online. Ran around 300 I think.

The Buster Sword is available at swordsonline.com Or at least it was, as "The Millenium Sword."

I certainly would like Revolver, it is the spiff. I small version of it is available for sale, if you know where to look.

At least the MasterSword doesn't look as retarded as the Buster Sword, and doesn't look insanely out of place in any Sword Collection heh.

Hence the reason I like the original Zelda sword. It looks simple, functional and yet pretty.

I don't like swords with too much glamour.

I want the Biggoron Sword 'cause it's big.
I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

www.ancientedge.com has an impressive ~6 foot long sword they call a "lowlander." Quite comparable, it's 250 dollars.

I own one. I love it.

I dunno, for decorative pieces a sword with a little flair isnt too bad. Though for practice (if I ever go back to practicing) ... nothing beats a Rapier.

I still want that sword from, "The Sword and the Sorcerer".
Who's that crazy kook that's destroying the world. It's Zorc (That's me) It's Zorc and Pals.
Bakura: Did you forget our anniversary, again? (laughter)
Zorc: Yes, I was busy destroying the world (laughter) Slaughtering millions. (Laughter)
Bakura: That's my Zorc.

I want odd weapons

My choices would be a pair of kamas (one regular and one with the weighted chain), a naginata (sp), a kukri, and a pair of katars.

www.bugei.com has good kama. They -had- a good naginata, but they may no longer sell it. (However, I believe they still sell yari.) coldsteel(e?) has nice Kukris, they're probably the lead crafters of well made Kukri.

I'm just looking for a good scimitar or sabre that matches the description I want. More Persian in appearance, for the scimitar, sabre like, etc. And as for saber, non-military affiliated would be nice.

I want a two-bladed sword.

Simple wisdom: One blade's good, two blades are better!

Thief: "I have come to a realisation. Dragons are not real in a general sense, but they may exist in certain specific cases."
Fighter: "Like how quantum mechanics describes how subatomic particles can spontaneously pop into existence at random!"
Thief: "No, that's stupid and stop making up words."
