You know, this just makes me think, I would have waited for the Cheapy Knock off from the same people that brought you the decorative (but unbalanced) swords from "Lord of the Rings".
Shit...I want one of those

Ya know they used to have Cloud's Sword replica at Swords Online. Ran around 300 I think.

I certainly would like Revolver, it is the spiff. I small version of it is available for sale, if you know where to look.

Must... find a way to justify the expense...

At least the MasterSword doesn't look as retarded as the Buster Sword, and doesn't look insanely out of place in any Sword Collection heh.

Hence the reason I like the original Zelda sword. It looks simple, functional and yet pretty.
I don't like swords with too much glamour.
I own one. I love it.

I dunno, for decorative pieces a sword with a little flair isnt too bad. Though for practice (if I ever go back to practicing) ... nothing beats a Rapier.

A gim. One-handed.

My brother said the same thing.

www.ancientedge.com has an impressive ~6 foot long sword they call a "lowlander." Quite comparable, it's 250 dollars.I own one. I love it.
My Freind has a Landshkent(Sp?) Sword. The Pommel is eye level to me. Only bad thing is it's made from 440 stainless steel.

I still want that sword from, "The Sword and the Sorcerer".
Which had no Sorcerer in it! Nice T&A though.
My choices would be a pair of kamas (one regular and one with the weighted chain), a naginata (sp), a kukri, and a pair of katars.

www.bugei.com has good kama. They -had- a good naginata, but they may no longer sell it. (However, I believe they still sell yari.) coldsteel(e?) has nice Kukris, they're probably the lead crafters of well made Kukri.
I'm just looking for a good scimitar or sabre that matches the description I want. More Persian in appearance, for the scimitar, sabre like, etc. And as for saber, non-military affiliated would be nice. [ 03-12-2004: Message edited by: LeMiere ]
