I need help openning ports on my router/firewall. Problem is, I have no clue how to do this sort of thing, I know the ports I need to open but like, I don't know if theres a certain program I need to enter them in or just plainly entering them in. So if someone could give me a lesson in Tech Ed, be much thankful.

All depends on the maker of your firewall.

Need more info.

Well I have a McAfee Firewall, yet I disabled that already, the one I'm clueless about is for my router. Its a Broadband Router made by Edimax. Yet if you need to know what kind of Network card I have installed in my tower, I'm afraid I wouldn't know where to look for that(though my tower is openned and I can see it, I meant for the brandname). Sorry.

First, find out what make and model your router is.

Second, find the info on your router from the manufacturer's website. A quick Google search pulled up Edimax's homepage, and these broadband routers.

Click your model, click User Manual, that should have directions.
