for the post part I either go along with it, agreeing affably with the negative comment and moving on. but now I have been told I am harrasing Bloodsage never mind what I feel about what he has to say about me or the comments he makes.
Ok fair enough Ill put Bloodsage on ignore so he will be protected from the big bad somthor, how ever from now on I expect him to do the same, any negative comments from him about anything I post I will consider harassment. its only fair.
In the meantime Maybe I can get word from Drysart wither or not its ok for me to make comment on the military.

no what we can agree to is that people here are to thin skined and sensitive about any comments on the military or any other aspect of its governmental branches except possibly the political figure heads.

The problem is that you tend to personalize your comments into attacks on people rather than general flames. Telling people they're thin skinned and sensitive because to you they can't handle your point of view is an attack remark. You're not making a political statement, you're telling people they're wimps. That's an attack. And then there's your habit of, when backed into a corner, either attacking someone personally (my favorite example of this being your atrocious, horrific insinuation that Bloodsage goes/went/will go around blowing up civvies for the hell of it), bombarding us with incongruous information (your job, whether you were in the military, etc) to support your often invasive or incendiary personalized attacks on people.
I could even forgive your ineptitude at the nuances of conducting a potent and effective flame attack, because that's something you have to learn, if it wasn't for the fact you violated the other rules of good taste in argumentative threads.

look above in the last 15 replies or so to this thread the very mention of the military in a negative tone recived a negative response. the entire comment I made was they are thinskined and sensitive about comments on the military which that tends to prove.
I am not attacking anyone I was commenting on what I have seen to be true here to a person expressed a simular view.

Ahh but you have to consider how someone is likely to reasonably take it. How would you take to being called thin-skinned or sensitive by someone you didn't care much for? Realistically, you'd probably find the comment offensive.
Now I will agree that some people enter a thread and pre-emptively attack you. That's not cool. I don't think you're a boon to the boards, but I like knowing what's going on, and that means I don't put anyone on ignore. On the other hand, there's a limit to how much I should have to protect myself from what's going on, which is why I'm trying to be civil and not proactively flame you about things.

And where are all these people who want you? Who's coming to your defense? The only defense I ever see you getting is that flaming you is getting annoying. That's not exactly an upstanding comment on your character.
Don't delude yourself. At the very least the absolute majority want you gone. You contribute nothing but hard-to-read dribble that we could get from any fourteen-year-old AOLer with a nick half consisting of numbers.
what I do know is being told that Im not qualified to pass comments on the military is absurd. The question I ask my self if what I say means nothing and in thier genral belief is nonsense then why do they object. If someone said somthing whom I thought was clearly uninformed, I'd consider the source and ignore it.
