The young man so wants one but can't afford it at the time. One day, while on the way back to the room he is renting at his apartment, he stumbles over a beautiful Persocom left lying in the alley. Seeing no owner and thinking somebody must of just thrown her out, he takes her (carrying her very heavy body) back to his room and eventually starts her up. Chi as he comes to call her (since thats the only thing she can say at first) is different than anyother Persocom in that she is more human than any other Persocom could be. Her AI and design is leagues beyond others. And thus begins the story of Chi and her boy. ^.^

Of course, since I haven't seen much of it, I could be writing it off too fast. Clamp has suprised me before with ordinary, unimpressive starting concepts that grew into really wonderful things.
