My parents have an NEC Silent Writer 610+.. They lost the driver disk, and I need to reinstall it onto their computer... I've been looking for the drivers for the better part of an hour, and thus far have met with failure.. Can Anyone possibly assist me in locating them? That'd be loverly.. Thanks!

N... E... C?

Wait, didn't they make the TurboGrafix 16?

I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

*rolls his eyes* Nevermind, my parents version of "can't find the disks" roughly equates to "We didn't look in the box of disks for them."

Not lazy, per se...Just...cautious. What if the driver doesn't work? What it it isn't downloadable? What if it pulverizes the printer? What if it sets off the chain reaction and causes nuclear explosion? Hmm? Hmm? If such an eventuality occurs, they shall remember your hand of destrucation rather than mine, Khyronicle. Burn, dude.

Isnt there an fuctions off windows XP to make the computer think its running an older version of windows to correct problems of that nature?

I know that's exists to make old software work sometimes, but it only works about half the time to begin with, and I don't know/think that it can do it for drivers too.
