Wow, that really really sucks. I rather enjoyed that show, especially the really really good writing.

Turns out if the series gets cancelled, UPN gets first crack at it.

Angel and Buffy had such awesome writing

Dunno, really hard to top them going on about Angelis being the most evil thing alive in their basement, and it cutting to him sitting in the corner singing "Teddy Bear Picnic"
I laughed entirely too hard at that

It shall be missed

Angel and Buffy had horribly painful dialogue, but they also had their good parts. (especially Angel) My brother has seasons 1-5 of Buffy and 1-3 of Angel on DVD and I watch them a lot, too.

I liked the first few seasons of Buffy, but then the show just got redundant. Angel was good, then I kinda got tired of it, then with this past season I got me all fired up again.

Spike is awesome, Him + Angel = awesomer.

I loved the movie. Mostly because it WAS incredibly camp and cheesy.

Azizza had this to say about Optimus Prime:
How did they bring him back anyway? I mean he did pull the whole dying to save the world bit..

He comments on that himself, but when he died, his soul that he just got back got locked into an amulet. Someone got a hold of it, and sent to Angel, who accidentally unleashes Spikes ghost.

Later on spike gets a box that had a spell locked in it that made him flesh. He comments that he can't go back to sunnydale cause it would ruin his whole "Sacraficing mahself to save the bloody world bit".

They say heroes are defined by the villains they fought. Villains in Buffy were that way. The Mayor kicked ass, Spike kicked ass until they made him an antihero, etc.

ACK! I loved Buffy when it was running, and of course finally getting into Angel, but of course they killed what I thought was Joss Wheadens best creation: "FireFly" before it ever had a chance to get off the ground.

Underfunded it to start, then killed it when it didn't score huge.

Movie: Good.

TV Series: Bad with one exception.

Angel spinoff: Mostly decent. Some crap parts, but not too bad.

And damnit, I have to see the episode where they muppet him. That's gotta be a fucked up show...

They sort've did that a couple of weeks ago on Angel when they had the awakened Slayer girl who was crazy. Andrew (the 'reformed' member of the Trio) came by to help with the Slayer and bring her back to the Scooby Gang.

He basically said that the gang had separated to spread out around the world and help guide the awakened Slayers. Buffy and her sister were in Italy, Xander was in South America or Africa, and Willow was in whichever continent Xander wasn't at. I can't remember if he said Giles was back in England helping reorg the Watchers or still in the states. Oh and Andrew was 'in charge' of the Slayers in America, though I wonder if it was more 'We'll leave all the slayers we've been training for hte past few months here with Andrew while we go stamp out the Slayer-fires we inadvertantly caused throughout the world. Hey Faith, if you get a moment can you make sure Andrew stays in line?' situation.

My memory's probably faulty about the exact locations but that's roughly what we found out happened.

Willow and her lesbian lover are in South America, Zanders in Africa.

One of my faverite buffy episodes has to be 7th season when andrew runs a game of DnD and giles is killed by trogdor.

Giles was training new watchers, like andrew, dunno where he was though.

Andrew was kinda handed power because he survived sunnydale.

Why did they have ta cancel the show

This really fucking sucks, while the acting was often terrible the writing made up for it.

Edit: Damn, accordingh to the second source Jake 2.0 is cancelled as well. I couldnt watch it since smallville > it, but still

edit2: heres to them making another spinoff about whats happening around the world with the "sunndale alum"
