By making THEMES!
I have completed my new Logon Screen.
Next is a new Wallpaper, and then Icons. Going with the Vengeance theme and using that Angel... Some of you know who she is.

Because of the dark nature of the theme, withoutthe bevels, you wouldn't know where the borders are.
Being so dark also is easier on the eyes I think, with greyed fonts on dark backdrops. The bevels are really only there on the Startmenu and selected items anyway.

Very, but of course, you would have to be familiar with the Character it's based off of to understand why. Probably one of the most defined, well written, and depressing/dark characters I ever created.

And Alaan, I dunno if you are gonna want it when it is complete. I'm pretty free with censorship around here, so this house doesn't really have an issue with mostly nudes or similar in the form of artwork. I dunno if you have as lax an atmosphere. Though it kinda looks like her right nipple (The one on the left) is out of place, though it may just be a strange angle..

Yeah, with the dark backdrop, and no actual nipples, it makes it look a bit more pointy than is normal. It's in the right place, I had to have Monica match it up, but unless I put an actual nipple on I'm gonna need to round it out a bit.
Technically she is obsidian, or marble-like, so doesn't have real nipples. I may add them on after the fact though, not sure.

Probably the overshinyness... Thats one flaw I know I have. I think it stems over from the fact CGI is not my strongpoint as I am a realist. Illustration is my area, and typically in black and white. I think part of that carries over into what I do in these. This is not my prefered medium. I am not very good at simplistic design, or simplistic art styles.
