That would include Marine Generals.

While a high-ranking officer in any credible military is probably not somebody I'd like to mess with on principle, something about this story seems off. The fact that it's a scanned clipping also makes me suspicious. Too easy to photoshop and the appearance of a clipping gives it some instant believability.

most retired marines i know still are in good enough shape to take out a casual theif.

then again some retired navy people I know would have jsut drawn and shot the prick becuse they carry.

The clipping is referenced. All you need to show it true or false is a copy of the Washington Post from the 18th of Jan.

*smiles* just a thought *pokes Suddar* Libraries always have credible newspapers/magazines archived if not physically.. then at least on microfiche or perhaps on computers these days. =)
