it should not be THIS hard to find a job or internship for the summer.
granted, I'm trying to find one from the opposite side of the country..but still

any job-hunting tips for when I can't actually be there?

Various colleges and high school have interships in a career field thing.

If you want to intern at a company, you could walk up to them, and start babbling about how you waked from X to here.
