Shubenacadie Sam, in Nova Scotia however did not see his shadow, so Atlantic Canada should see Spring early.
Balzac Billy in Alberta also saw his shadow so Western Canada should have a longer winter too.
OTOH, Sam is reported to be unreliable, so he's probably wrong anyways.
