I'm a computer programmer, so I always start with 0. Of course that makes it:
01-23-04 which is still ok ( 0 1 2 3 0 4 ), but just wait until 2045 when we have 01-23-45. (And it's too long to wait for the year 4567 to get 01-23-4567).
I'm a bit partial to 01-23-78 myself; sure it skips 4,5 and 6, but it also represents my first day on this planet. 
My cousin William's B-Day was yesterday (1-22) and he's 24 as well... freaky, huh?

Tomorrow is my birthday. It always sucked having a birthday so close to Christmas!
Anyway! I am glad that you like years like this like I do! I think it's cool when numbers in the date are interesting.
And Nae, my birthday is ON christmas but it doesn't suck since my family is considerate
So, it kinda sucked much ass. I also hated having to share my birthday parties with my younger sister, who's birthday was 2 days after mine. She was 4 years younger, so I would have all these little snot-nosed brats at my party.
Sucked much.
