I got my W2 form a few days ago and I would like to file my taxes online. Last year I was balked because some software which I do not posess was necessary. Is there anyway to get some free software which I can use to file? Legal would be preferable.

Turbo tax is good it walks you thought the whole thing checks your exemptions help you find errors and deductions you might have over looked then electronicly files it for you. They are also certified by the IRS.

you can do it all online wiht no software required, and depending on where you live and how much you earn it can be free to about 20.00 to file

Thanks for the link, Nae. The cleaned up the eFile site from last year it seems. Sadly the section on free filing is down until the 22nd.

It's the way I speed read things... certain capitialization and unusual letters trigger certain words to be registered automatically, and based on that keyed word it causes a shift in what's being 'read' before and after it.

It's fucked up, but it works decently when I'm having to really grind out material...
