Can us artist/writer/designers get a pure coder to help us do something instead or is it just for the coders, and they can get help? Do have to be a coder, I guess is what I am asking.
Of course, I'd probably be unable to finish it anyway, within the time frame... Too much in my life to contend with. But it's a general question.

No, no, no, no! Do it right!
You gotta get the Valley Girl tone in there!

Demon_Angel, alone in the world and surrounded by danger on every turn, still managed to type this:

That.. was pretty funny

Where are the demooooos? ^.^
I apologize for the delay. It would seem only Blindy and I competing. As far as I am aware Blindy is still working on his game (though I can not speak for him), and there were too many personal things that came up that prevented me from completing my game. The lack of competition and the like removed a lot of the inspiration from the players involved and deterred others from joining. None the less, be rest assured you will see the demos, they are just delayed.
Personally, the main reason my demo is late is that there were simply too many personal matters I had to deal with (mainly dealing with purchasing a new house, car, and the like). I had to make sacrifices to reach these goals, and the game was one of them. I have not given up on the game, even if I have to officially disqualify myself from the contest. I will complete my demo, it will just take longer than I originally expected.
After Blindy and I release the demos, I'm thinking of having this competition on a wider scale. The small amount of competition and more importantly unreasonably short timeframe seem to be this contests two biggest problems.
Fortunately, one of the points of this competition was to learn from its mistakes. In that we will succede.
Summary for lazy people: They are coming, they are just gonna be late. [ 02-07-2004: Message edited by: diadem ]

Yeah. I have discovered that I suck at coding. I'm taking all the time I can get.
Heh.
If you want any help at the not-code stuff, send me a PM.
