Self explanatory. I personally eat what's given to me which is many different types: ham, turkey, steak, pork, hell we basically eat anything that moves. Post your family's traditional meats.

Before I moved to Arizona, my Christmas Eve dinners had nothing but fish. Pickled herring, cod, orange roughey, pickeral, and some other unknown dreaded... er breaded fish. Perogies, red bean and beet salad, and mushroom soup. I do miss those dinners.

Turkey is an indiginous bird to the american continent,in particular north america,so only there could it be a traditional x-mas dinner.
If you check the more traditional cookbooks you find heaps of delicious recipes.
For instance,in France the traditional dinner is goose,in the Uk they have things like a triffle en x-mas pudding (wich looks like you could shoot it out of a cannon).
So maybe next year have a real traditional X-mas dinner and go realy old school?
Although you might wanna try some things out first, see if they're to you're taste, woul'dn't wanna spoil you're christmas......

So, another year with ham.

My family actually had steak, crab legs, and lobster for Christmas.

I used to do Elk or Venison around Christmas time, when I hunted a little bit more, but as of late it's been just rib roasts and stuff that will feed me for a few days at a time.
