My title doesn't even make sense any more

Don't know if someone pointed this out yet but..

After seeing the Return of hte King, I was thinking....
How do all those trolls attacking the White City not turn into stone? They were in the sun light. I know it's a moot point, but it annoys the hell out of me anyway.

Being as I haven't seen the movie yet, if the trolls look like the trolls that open the gates of Mordor then they are the uber trolls that someone created. They are to trolls what the Urukie(sp) are to orcs.

Yeah I remember a reference to that. The Uruk-hai weren't the only race bred past it's inherent racial weaknesses. Trolls too.
