I own a old dreamcast and have recently become addicted to the game Shenmue. Shenmue 2 was only released on the dreamcast in the UK and Japan.

My question is would a UK copy of Shenmue 2 work on my (presumably) US dreamcast? Any haste would be much appreciated as this auction ends in about an hour.

It will work, BUT you need a special disk that forces your DC to think it is from Europe. EB used to sell them, but stopped several years ago when the DC became defunct. You can probably find them on ebay or half.com.

Think they were called Region Conversion Disks, or Regional Adapter Disks... something like that.

Just a little more info, EB sold the PAL version with the Innovation Super Game Converter. The game itself had four CDs and two manuals. The game converted CD was seperate from the game itself, so you'll most likely have to purchase it seperately. Gamestop has it in stock.
