So, I wanted to go get a DVD of Yu-Yu Hakusho. I wanted either Yoko Kurama, or Deadly Toguro. Well, after going to Wal-Mart to see that they had nada, and knowing that my work had none, I went over to Suncoast in the mall.

Apparently, the uncut versions were $24.99. I had $25.00. Thus, I could not afford the tax. So I decided to wait for payday tomorrow, and I bought up a good batch of their japanese candy, including Pocky.

Man, this stuff really IS good!

I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

The people who say Pocky is overrated obviously never had any.
I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

I've had Pocky. It is overrated. Stale grahamcracker sticks with chocolate/strawberry/whateverthefuck coated on one end is not a great taste.

Haven't had it yet.
A particularly crafty sea lion is befuddling the Army Corps of Engineers, who have come to believe the 1,000-pound mammal is either from hell -- or from Harvard.

It's good, but not for how much you pay. Or how much you get. It's like 3 bites and the entire bag's gone.

Why? Yu Yu Hakusho rules.

There's a King on a throne with his eyes torn out.
There's a Blind Man looking for a shadow of doubt.
There's a Rich Man sleeping on a golden bed.
There's a Skeleton choking on a crust of bread.

The original movie thing probably does...the show had a good idea, but it rapidly turned into something that reminds me of DBZ.

Hakusho is a great show, and is very different from DBZ in many ways. Though I'm not saying they don't have their similiarities, because they do. They never get anywhere near the extreme that is DBZ.

I saw the first episode (I think) and it started out as an anime that I (the hater of all anime) could actually enjoy. He died trying to save that little girl, only to find out that she would have survived anyway had he not sacrificed himself. He was then confronted by an angel that was giving him another chance at life.

I hadn't watched it for a while after that, so I don't know what transpired in between... but the next episode had just degenerated into a DBZ brawl/grunt/scream/grunt/power up/grunt - fest.

I was very disappointed.

How much do YOU pay? I get my pocky at the Scott AFB comissary. If I remember correctly its like 79 cents.

Wow, that is pretty expensive. I get them at around 3-5 cents.

Around here it's probably about $1.49-$1.99 for a box with like, 20 pocky sticks or however much those boxes come with. I'd rather pay $.99 for an entire pound of American candy.
