Right now I feel that it's wrong to do it, but I can't stop grinning and being happy about the situation....

I'd say yes. Put yourself in their situation.

Agreed. If they brought it on themselves/get what they deserve, then milk it buddy, milk it.

Just flip the roles in the situation, and see if you're still laughing. If you are, then it's probably justified. If not, then you're probably just being a douche. Without knowing more about the situation, I can't say much else.
Perhaps I should just put "What Karnaj Said" in my sig, and save some effort.

I've already been on the flip side. In a few short words, he "stole" my ex-girlfriend of mine.... now he's seeing the side I saw and hates it. He took a few months of prying her away from me. Now in 3 short weeks he's complaining that he isn't getting his fair share.
I still don't feel justified for almost laughing my ass off, but I can't stop the smiling.

Enjoy your revenge, he just pulled the same thing on you.
Are you guilty for laughing because you think others would find it wrong, or because you personally find it wrong?
The answer is your own... nobody else should force you to feel some way because of their moral backgrounds.
I say enjoy this one. This does seriously sound like someone who had it coming to him.

Though I do definately agree with you, who are you, and what have you done with Chalesm?

I am a person up very late at night (...well, morning now) while listening to the "Avenue Q" soundtrack. That does funny things to one's head.

in most cases, i'd say you are an ass. in this case, you are fully justified and he has it coming. in fact, this is the most fitting case of it being justified that i can think of
