Clouds passed silently over the steamy jungles of Kunark. A lone hawk soared effortlessly on a thermal, before dipping briefly into the growth below, and flapping quickly to regain altitide. The hot sun beat down upon the sea of emerald, and a lone elf swatted and cursed at the tiny, biting mosquitoes before filling the air around him with a brief flash of fire. There would be more, but for now it was a relief. Constellation sighed, and noticing a conveniently located rock underneath the spreading boughs of a palm tree, sat down and began to wait. The sun sank slowly into the west, and after a spectacular sunset, slowly released the world to his pale brother and an uncountable multitude of stars.

A rather large mosquito caught sight of the elf. It dove down toward him, hoping for a nice drink of elvish blood. Before its tiny brain could comprehend what was happening, it was in the jaws of a fox, which had jumped up and caught it. With one chomp, the fox swallowed the insect. He landed back on the ground. He had almost decided to go on his way, catching his dinner, but he noticed an elf out wandering in this place. He walked over to the elf on all fours. 'That's unusual,' he thought. 'You don't normally see elves around here...'

Constellation continued to sit patiently, watching the stars come out. It would be a clear night. He sighed and pulled out an antique pocket watch plated in silver. It had been crafted by a gnomish friend of his father. He opened its timeworn case carefully, checked the time, and replaced it.
A fox approached out of the darkness. Constellation considered this new arrival, intrigued. He wondered whether such an evolved species had already been present on Kunark or whether it had come from another. He stood up. "Hello there, small friend of the forest. What brings you to this place on this night?"

*Not too far away.*
A young half-elf sretched and yawned. Thanking Tunare for the mosquito's leaving him alone he bent his legs and lept into the 4th limb on the nearest jungle tree. Horrid things they were. Twisted and bent, Not like the trees of the faydark, bright, tall and green. How he loved those trees. Yet the trees here were still trees nontheless and were still a part of natures beauty. Keiran admittedly admired the rawness of Kunark. Its jungles were something else. And not to mention much safer then the jungle of the Feerot on Antonica. The smaller flora were something to behold. Bright and Beautiful they were, full of life. They somewhat reminded them of Sarinia, his sweetheart back home in the Faydark. Keiran smiled as memories of Sarinia danced through his head. He found a few stiff branches that would hold his sleeping weight. He then gathered leaves and made himself look like nothing more then a pile of leaves. Sarinia still in his thought he smiled as he closed his eyes to sleep...

"Well, I was hunting, and then when I saw you, I came to ask that same question. I haven't seen many elves around this place lately..."

Constellation nodded. "I'm waiting for a friend although..." He checks the pocketwatch. "...he seems to be rather late. One hopes nothing unfortunate has occured."

Constellation sighed, and stoods up. "Sum must have stopped for dinner somewhere, I can't believe he'd forget we were supposed to meet here." He gestured, and a plain walking stick appears in his hand. He gestured again, and a small wisp popped into being, flitting whimsically about. "Wisp, I need you to find Sum Dum Oagre. When you have done so, report back to me." Constellation hefted the walking stick and turned to Folx. "Would you like to accompany me? This may prove to be an entertaining diversion."

not far off in the distance the sound of song could be heard. The soft notes filled the night air.The song didnt sound happy nor sad, but still uplifting. The song was different from any human song thus could it only be elven. The loudness of the tone suggested the Elven singer drew nearer.

"Sure. I have nothing better to do." Folx's ears picked up the soft singing, which seemed to be growing closer. In fact, it was no longer soft at all. "I wonder who that is..." he said, trusting Constellation's ears to be as sensitive as his.

With practiced ease, Constellation brings his staff into a ready position. "Who goes there?"

Dalakoi=type of chainmail, It is like a robe but between the legs it is slit, it has large wide sleeves that go to about the elbow. It is by far the easiest type of medium armor to manuver in
Kerian couldnt find the sleep that his body so desperatetly required. After several hours of lying motionless amidst the leaves, night fell and the sun began to rise again. His acute hearing, rivaling even that of most full-blooded elves, picked up a beautiful female voice singing a particularly uplifting song. Listening for a moment he detirmined it was not far off and heading directly towards him. Intrigued by the voice he sat up, leaves tussling everywhere, his lower body still covered along with patches of his Ry'Gorr Dalakoi covered by leaf stems stuck in the metal rings.
Keiran popped his neck and decided to try and find Constellation. After they regrouped they would try and rescue Sum Dum from the Sarnaks. Somewhere in the trees, not far away Keiran saw one of Constellations wisps, looking a bit pale it appeared to be almost out of energy. If it were almost out of energy then it would probably be heading back to Constellation. Kerian leaned foreward and slid down through the trees branches, leaves flitting about everywhere like a pale green trail.
When he landed he looked around for the wisp and saw the singer he had heard earlier. She had a very startled look on her face.
"Hello, my name is Keiran." He said with a flourish...

" And hello to you sir" The young woman said softly as she got over little surprise. The Elf stood tall in a Dark purple cloak that cover most of her body. Her arms could be seen through two slits on the side of her cloak. In her right hand she held a long walking staff.
The youngs Elf's Faceal fetures are sweet and relaxed as she smiled at Keiran. In the dark her hair seemed as black as the night, but she steped into a beem of moon light as she walked bast Keiran. Her pointy ears could be seen through she bright red hair. Slowly she appeared before Constellation and the Fox.
" It is merely a passerby" The Elf replied.

Constellation allowed his staff to rest on the ground and relaxed from his fighting stance. "Greetings fair maid. It seems a night for travelers. This forest quickly grows crowded. Might I ask your business in this place?"

Folx listened conntently. He loved the way that elves talked to each other. Always so smoothly and in a formal, yet relaxed way. Even the dark elves had a certain charm to thier speech, though none compared to the silky voices of wood elvish bards. 'Even when they simply speak, it's like music to the ears,' he thought.

Kiu smiled as she walked passed the fox and the other elf.

"well if you mind, I think I will be on my way" she said. Slowly she dissapeared into the woods.

A few moments pass and a scream echoed in the direction that had gone.
