"Funny how I lived a couple miles outside of the city and don't know an inch of it except the gates" He thought, dodging another running bard.

Bobbles, his pet elemental was hurrying to keep up. The water elemental weaved in between the running people and vendors as tried to keep an eye on Kaziin.

Kaziin felt something on his dirty blonde hair. Rain. He sighed.

"Just what I need" he muttered.

He had just returned from Greater Faydark, visiting a friend in Felwithe. How he hated big cities, and most people. He would have just gated, but was exsauhsted. He rushed into an Inn and looked at the door as Bobbles entered behind him, floating in his elemental way.

"I'd like a room please" Kaziin said to the man at the counter.

Kaziin paid the man and headed to his room. As he sat on the bed he set his quarterstaff against the wall.

"Why did I have to meet him in this wretched Human city?" Kaziin muttered.

He was glancing back over his shoulder, running as usual when he slammed right into the Freeport Guard.
"Woah, slow down there friend. Something wrong?" A thousand responses flicked through Nanji's mind, at least half included various way's of killing the guard.
"Ahh, no. No trouble here, just late for um...a meeting." He replied, faking a smile. The guard smiled back and nodded.
"That's good, don't want trouble now do we?" Nanji nodded, decided to end the encounter and took off at a slower pace then before. As he slipped between buildings he briefly heard the shouts of an ogre and the guards arguing...

"Finally! He's here!" Kaziin said, hopping out the window. Bobbles threw it's little arms in the air as it jumped out also.

Kaziin walked over to Nanji as he saw a huge ogre rounding the corner.

"Quick man! IN HERE" He yelled as he dragged Nanji inside the inn.

"I think I know a way we can get out of here" Kaziin said, also peering out of the window.

Bobbles floated around behind them, then made a noise of exclamation as he spotted the ogre's ugly face in the window behind them.

Kaziin turned around, "Bobbles, what is i--" Kaziin got bug eyed as the ogre slammed through the door.

"LETS GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!" Yelled Nanji as they sprinted out the door and into the crowded streets of North Freeport.

"AHH!!" Yelled Kaziin, not being able to concentrate on casting, "HELP! NANJI, BOBBLES!!"

Loud shouts quickly reached the temple of marr which was much closer then the two thought.
Ildrain's half-elven ears quirked as he cocked his head to the side listening closely.
"What is is Ildrain?" asked Ewin Nyrond, Ildrains Human Friend and Cleric of Mithaniel Marr.
"Hmmm I could've sworn I just heard an ogre roar."
"Weird, But then again I'm bored. Wanna go check it out?"
"Sure." Ildrain replied with a grin as he set aside his fishing pole and grabbed his new sword.
The pair set off with a jog and quickly reached the patrol walls surrounding the temple, a quick search revealed exactly what Ildrain had heard... An Ogre standing in front of two humanoids, wondering how delicious they would taste no doubt.

Crying out to his God Ildrain grabbed his Two-Handed Velium Sword and jumped down from the wall, as luck would have it, the magic in his sword lit and a trail of icy shards flew down with him. The Ogre winced in pain as the Velium Sword tore into its right shoulder and as the icy shards carved into its un-protected face.
All the while Ewin had been casting an armoring spell which landed on Ildrain soon after his strike.
Grasping his wounded shoulder, with an extremely surprised look on its face the Ogre looked down at Ildrain as a primal rage took it, "Meez Gonna krush yuu wittle hooman!" and subsequently raised his huge Club and tried to strike Ildrain, who narrowly dodged the massive club. Ildrain got in another quick slice at the ogres midsection before Ewins second spell landed, an evocation spell that rooted the ogres feet to the ground. Another narrow dodge and Ildrain backed away from the ogre that was growing more furious by the second.

"Run! to the temple! you will find safety there! Have them send help!" he yelled at the two humans whom the ogre had been attacking. By the time he had turned around Ewin had cast a smiting spell which had blackened almost the entirety of the ogres tough flesh...

yes through thread reading you the one guy said something to the ogre and is stopped and saluted and stuff, but ildrain and ewin didnt see it, and they dont really like ogres anyway. all they saw was ogre+weapon in front of two people so they attacked

Kaziin, Bobbles and Nanji stood (floated...) still, in shock, before acknowlaging(sp)the yelling, but when they did, they all took off in a Flash towards the temple.

I recall a door being smashed in...it *is* possible for an ogre to go into NFP with faction work, and yes they can roar.

Also I do not recall saying "go ahead and take over control of my ogre from now on"....

"What the HELL does he want with you Nanji?!" Asked Kaziin, panting from the sprint, as they came to a stop.

"Get up girl!" He shouted

Nanji looked at the girl puzzled

"Were you stealing? ARGH...we don't have the time for this!" He said.

Bobbles reached for the girl to take away the probably stolen items.

"Fine. Bobbles, give back what are supposedly her things." He said.

"Ok girlie, talk" Nanji interjected.

Kiu started to climb as fast as she could up the wall.

"This just keeps getting better and better!" He said as they continued to sprint through downtown North Freeport

" well if your going to follow me or not?" Kiu yelled down to the ally to any one who would listen.

" hello Mrs. Backer" Kiu said stopping in front of a rug store.

" hello sweety, what bring you here this day" Mrs. backer said to Kiu

" I was wondering if Mr. Backer was here" Kiu asked.

" oh yea sure hes in the back"

Kaziin breathed a sigh of relief.

"Well...that's ONE catastrophe diverted" Kaziin said, semi-chuckling.

Just then, 3 guards ran by, screaming, a very large skeleton did a spinning jump kick, it's foot penetrated one of the guard's back and came out his chest. The man dropped dead.

"A Skeletal Monk Pet? Oh...Crap" Nanji stated.

the man looked up as she come up next to him.
" Kiu" Mr. Backer looked surprised.
" Hobs, i need you to keep some things for me"
" what did you do this time?" Hobs smirked

*meanwhile back at the temple of Marr*
"That is all Ildrain, Good job handling that ogre. Didn't you say that there were some commoners that the ogre was attacking?"
"Yes Sir, two of them, a mage and one other."
"Hmm, And you told them to head here for safety?"
"Yes sir."
"Hmm, go find out what happened to them. See if they are okay. And also bring them here. I would like to know why an ogre would attack them here."
"Yes Sir!"
Ildrain promptly kneeled, stood up and walked outside to meet Ewin at the temple steps.
"So?" Ewin asked.
"He said to go find those two that were being attacked by the ogre."
"Really?"
"Yea, 5 gold says they've gone to an Inn, or somewhere with a lot of people. I'd say the marketplace would be the best place to start."
"Yer right. Lets go."

Kiu walked out the door to the shop and headed towards the center of the market. the market was near the inn and Kiu need a place to spend the rest of the day before she left. Why not spend that time In a bar drinking the night away.

Soon I will be able to buy some real armor if I can get a good trade on some of these things. I'm sick of having this weak leather armor.
