I'm in the process of watching and enjoying:
Rurouni Kenshin, Serial Experiments Lain
I watched part of and wondered WTF to:
Boogiepop Phantom (ok, so Khy's FTP doesn't have ep 2 or 3, maybe that's it), FLCL (really, what the flying fuck)
Anyone have any suggestions for what to watch next?
^.^

nono not Slayers, FLCL!!!!!
FLCL while okies, makes about as much sense as a mongoose smoking weed and snorting crack while driving a Mini-cooper up the side of the Sears Tower! [ 09-17-2003: Message edited by: Katrinity ]
Bastard! is a parody of traditional fantasy, like a darker Slayers. It's good.
I haven't seen all of Boogiepop myself, but I remember really liking the third episode.
Princess Mononoke is an enjoyable way to spend a few hours.
And, while frequently overhyped, Neon Genesis Evangelion still has a lot going for it.
Nobody I know of likes how it ends. But it's still a good show.
I only saw half of episode one, but it still pwns

Omg...Berserk's ending made me so mad.
You don't even get to see the showdown fight before Guts and Griffith/Femto, or what happened to Caska!
You have to read the manga to learn just about anything in Berserk. [ 09-19-2003: Message edited by: Katrinity ]

Seriously! However, aren't they going to have a season 2 that continues from where it left off?
Other animes: Witch Hunter Robin, Love Hina, Blue Submarine No. 6, Angel Sancuary. (If you wanted Blue Sub/Angel San, let me know I can help you out. I think the others are on Khy's server already)

No season 2 planned last I heard. When I finished the series a few months back when the 6th dvd came out over here, I researched the topic. Seems for now you'll have to learn Japanese and get the manga, import it and download the numerous translated scripts on the web, or wait for it to be editted for American consumers.

Yeah, my brother's got about 10 - 20 of the mangas.
Personally, I liked how the series ended.
In the Manga, the Skull knight has appeared a few times over the course of what is shown in the anime. He is a powerful (undead?) warrior who was cursed when he tried to defy the God Hand figures. He is supposedly destined to kill Void (big brained Death-like figure) later on. He saves Rickett from the massacre of the left behind Hawk members, scaring the much bigger and more numerous demon-spawn away with his mere presence. After that he rushes in to snatch up the wounded Guts and raped Caska, wiping out waves of the lesser demons with a mere flick of his sword. He leaves Guts and Caska under the eye of Rickett and Guts' blacksmith friend to recover. The whole experience has seemed to break Caska's sanity. She acts now like a child, sometimes not even aware of where she is, and is very afraid of Guts. Also in her womb, a child she had concieved with Guts months earlier has been twisted by Demon Griffith's rape of her. She gives birth to a half demon-half human child who Guts is appalled by and tries to slay. The sun comes up before he can and like other dark spirits, his child fades away into some dimension that demons rest in. The Skull Knight comes and explains a few things to Guts. After this Guts get a new hand forged by Godo(sp?), his blacksmith friend, and a new sword. Some powerful demon attacks at somepoint and Guts breaks his sword against it. He then is able to grab an old sword that Godo had forged long ago in his youth that no-one had been able to wield from its massive weight. Guts lifts it effortlessly and tears into the demon. This is the sword that he has when he fights the Snake demon at the beginning of the anime.
And thats where the spoilers I was reading ended for now. Its a series that continues on even now though, with new Manga.
Shareaza is being mean about it, and not giving anything up.

How would I manage to find this Berserk without unloading copious amounts of money to my local Suncoast Video?
