Playing games other than DDR on PS2 with a DDR pad. Not serious gaming of course, as it'd be extremely difficult, but I'd imagine it'd be quite amusing for multiplayer situations. Imagine the visual of someone playing SC2 on one, tearing their legs to jelly trying to do one combo.

Did that with Gran Turismo 3, it was quite a sight. I can't imagine doing anything with Soul Calibur 2, though...

Maybe if both people had DDR pads:/

But if one had a gamepad you'd die, easily

Yep. It acts like a normal controller, really. I tried to play Dynasty Warriors 3 with it, once.

Only caveat is that (at least most) DDR pads don't work with games that are expecting an analog controller, which includes a lot of PS2 games.

Heh, I remember when Janus and myself played Gundam Battle Assault with a pad. It was very amusing. Even moreso because it was a Madcatz pad with L & R buttons. Yes, amusing indeed...

Janus, remember playin MK4: Bloody Alliance at my place with em? It was nuts with Vise and I trying to pull off quarter rolls and such. Good for laughs.

Umm...MK4: Bloody Alliance? MK4 was just Mortal Kombat 4, unless your talking about the 5th one, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.
