Agreed. So in that sense, I'd vote "gods"...but as far as personal taste goes, I just like them.

I love their music, so they're close to the God rating for me.

I don't really see why people would vote overrated though, It's hard to be overrated when you were the rating.

I love them so much it isn't even funny.

We have a band here in Vegas called The Fab that I like to go see, they do a really good job of covering them.

Musically, the Beatles are HUGE. Like, bigger than an X-Box huge. You'd have a hard time calculating the number of bands they've influenced, either directly or indirectly.

I won't deny their influence or following, but I fucking hate their music. It all sounds the same to me, and that is the sound of pure chaos.

A Kansas City Shuffle is when everybody looks right, you go left.

It's not something people hear about.

I don't think you can say they are all the same. Early stuff is immensely different from later(drug influenced) music.

They have the #1 song that's been covered the most, and some of their deeper music and lyrics really are trippy, like the fad that was Paul's death, Listen to the lyrics on Sgt. Peppers and the previous Album *can't remember name*, The lyrics both predict his "untimely death" and talk that he is "dead", but we all know he isn't.

Their music doesn't all sound the same. Maybe if you listen to the same song over and again it does.

They went through different periods of change and there is no way you can tell me that "Love Me Do" sounds like "My Guitar Gently Weeps".

I can't deny that they were influential, or that they were and are amazingly popular, I'm just not obsessed is all.

I prefer other bands from that era. (meatloaf, mellencamp, jefferson airplane, jay and the americans, floyd (to an extent), elvis, others that I can't bring to mind right now)
