SO it's like.. a skirt with one leg of a pant.

It's got gay written all over it.

I know that was probably a joke..
But most kids think when they wear hot topic and dress in black they all of a sudden turn goth which is quite fucking stupid.
this looks like a bondage dress to me, too

A kid in my guitar class dresses in all black every day. His fingernails are painted black, and his hair is in these dumb little braid things.
I bet you he considers himself goth. I just want to kick him.
quote:No.
When they turned on the Infinite Improbability Drive, Nicole suddenly said,
Is it bad if I want one of those for myself?
And as for the whole goth thing, I can't help thinking that the only real goths are the ones that don't put in the effort to wear freaky makeup. I mean, if the world is that pointless, why put all the effort into makeup? Why wear makeup at all? You'd just be trying to shout, "I am goth!" to a world that supposedly doesn't give a damn.

Roll the dice to see if Gikkwiny is getting drunk!
I think it's like this, actually.skirt:

I could be wrong though.
I have to admit that I find the whole "goth style" pretty intreguing... And that goes a little further than just the fashion, I think... It's not for me, personally -- but I can admire the people who do it just to do it... not the ones who do it in order to make a huge statement that they're "rebellious, different and kewl!2~". The honest people, I've found, don't really have the need to scream out how cool they look and how "unique" (or not!) they are. ;P
Should've said something, but I've said it enough
By the way my words were faded
Rather waste some time with you...
quote:
This insanity brought to you by Holden:
Theres like a whole pack of kids at our school who think they are goth just because they have little pins that say Jimmy Eat World and bullshit..
Jimmy Eat World? That's not goth....
I raid thrift stores instead =p
And that state of mind is braindead.

Palador ChibiDragon Model 2000 was programmed to say:
Dear gods, it's a skater-punk kilt!
Neither a skater or a punk would be caught dead in it.
Though I'm sure the only people that would wear it envy the dead.

Nina's unholy Backstreet Boys obsession manifested in:
I'd shop at Hot Topic if it wasn't so damn expensive and not in Canada.I raid thrift stores instead =p
If you take a trip to the states on our Memorial Day, Labor Day, or right after Christmas, (and some time in spring) they have 50% off on all thier clearence. (It extencds to thier website, too.)
You can get shirts for 3 dollars. Pants for 5 dollars. Etc...
It's so nice, but only if you have money to spend!
As far as I go, I wear dark red lipstick. My hair ranges from red to dark red, depending on the dye of this month. A large majority of my shirts are a: black, or b: charector shirts. I am making pants like these, since they don't have them in my size. All of my pants are dark blue jeans or black pants. My purse is covered in buttons, and patches.
Am I a poser?
I don't think so, because.. well, I honestly just wear what I LIKE to wear. I think it looks cute, and looks good on me. I buy them from torrid.com - the plus sized version of hot topic. Why? Because all of the other plus sized stores target 40 year olds, or people who want to dress like the Gap. I don't want to dress that way.
And yeah, I would wear that. 'Cause it looks neat .

Skater-punk is a phrase a friend of mine used to use to describe some kinds of clothes. She started using it while working as the manager of a Gadzooks (before they went all female), so I assumed that it was a term other people used.
Ok, call it a "Goth kilt" then.

But, if a cool anime character wore something like that you would too while dressing up as them? Just so long as people know that's not your personal taste in clothes?
Or do you find it so offensive that you wouldn't wear it even then? [ 09-21-2003: Message edited by: Palador ChibiDragon ]

My first thought when I saw the picture was "anime villain!".

*I* couldn't pull it off. That's all I'm saying. I would look silly in it.
Actually, to tell you the truth, it's actually kinda cool, but It is kinda silly. I think stuff like that SHOULD be kept to Anime and Cosplay.
..not one of the good Final Fantasy games, one of the crappy "technology sucks" ones.

It sorta made me think of Lulu's Tribute To Straps leather dress.
