I am up later than I should be so I'll probably add more later after I've had some sleep and give others a chance to make their comments. But I'll leave you with a spoiler and a joke.
A friend of mine, Jabari, joined us for the movie. I refer to him as my 'token black friend' all the time. We laugh and hang out. He's a cool guy. Anyway. Me and four friends at the movie.. towards the end when the vampires are raiding the werewolf den and the big black guy sees Lucian on the ground, then charges out and attacks one of the vampires... Then the vampire pulls off his coat and brandishes a pair of whips... Jabari says "Oh shit." Tim looked over at Bari and said "What?" The guy starts snapping the whips at the werewolf black guy. Bari says "Oh no. Nuh unh, you didn't." Tim looked at Bari again and said "What's up?" Then the guy's whip gets stuck and the werewolf eats the vampire's face. Bari looks right at us and, with a straight face, says "History tells us you should never whip a black man." The rest of the movie was pretty much ruined for me due to fits of laughter. heheh

The vampire fatality to werewolf fatality was sorely imbalanced, though.

so long as more vampired died i'm fine.
So... Vampire + Werewolf = The Incredible Hulk, which is apparently an abomination. He also didn't lose his pants.

You're going to be disappointed.
And the Half-breed definitely could have been handled better. Vampire and Werewolf blood mixed together? Apparently, it makes you turn into a black man.

No,
It turns you into a dark elf! ^.^
Teehee.
He kicked ass, and I predict this to be the start of his career.

He was actually the co-writer for the screenplay of Underworld.

Imagine that.
Hey, since you're so knowledgable, can you tell me whether the doctor for the werewolves (I refuse to call them by that other name) was Gollum? He sounded a lot like him...
Up there, is my input.
I even left the theater early it was so bad. First movie EVER to make me leave.

Raze. And I've seen him in a few movies already. Career = been started
The Mask
Charlie's Angels
Men in Black II
Batman Forever
Bowfinger
And that's just what I pulled off of the Underworld site.

Underworld 3 is a currently a strong rumor.

Leaving in the middle of the movie invalidates your opinion completely.
But thank you for playing!

If you're going to do a vampire/werewolf movie and humans aren't the protagonists, do what they did with Underworld: Completely edit the humans, save as bystanders and fifth-string NPC types. Don't spend time explaining the relationship vampires and werewolves have with humans. It's not therapy. Humans are there, vampires are there, werewolves are there. Vampires no longer need humans for food. Hooray.
Likewise, a lot of films these days suggest vampirism and the like as transmittable diseases. Blade trivialized it by suggesting it was less tricky than the common cold to cure (in the Blade movies, Vampirism is curable...no cure for cancer or the common cold, though). The "infection" in Underworld had more weight. It was irreversible. Very cool.
I also liked the specialized weapons. Lycans were pretty ferocious, and given their nature only needed guns in human form, with gimmicked rounds. Vampires, on the other hand, had a small arsenal of gear modified from human tech and outright made for hunting Lycans. The updated rounds for the weapons were kinda neat too.
