I was wondering, what programs are essetial to have on the task manager and not fluff i can stop?
A particularly crafty sea lion is befuddling the Army Corps of Engineers, who have come to believe the 1,000-pound mammal is either from hell -- or from Harvard.

Fairly sure that'll depend on your OS. It's safe to say explorer.exe is important. and svchost.exe

Check that site out, it should list all the processes required, and also give you some great tips on keeping your comp efficient.

I cant believe i forgot to post the important info, I run Xp, and use I.E., and am on a cable modem.

Better yet, why dont i post the processes that are running. I did some checking up and i have a really bad feeling about some of them. I'll typoe them as i see them.
