I think Sephiroth would win because he has that long sword and can hit Cloud before Cloud can get near him. Who do you think would win?

There's really not a hell of a lot of room for debate. This has already happened, we know who would win.

Sephiroth. Because he's a badass.

Cloud.

Why?

... Because I still want a Cloud plushie.

... But besides that. He's just l33t and Sephiroth is boring. BORING.

Cloud.

Sephiroth has even less personality than Cloud, and on top of that he's obviously not as strong.

Cloud threw him into a vat of Mako, beat the crap out of him in two boss battles, and then killed him again in an existential showdown. We have uh-owned, over.

Plus there's the fact that Cloud's sword probably has more mass than even Sephiroth's. He'd snap it in two.

The sword probably has more mass than Sephiroth and his sword put together Poor Cloud has to use a tripod during long battles.

I mean, hell. If you even let Sephiroth attack you at the final showdown before the ending, he only does roughly 3000 damage. Then Cloud'll counterattack(a normal one, not Omnislashing him. Even if you don't have Counter Attack equipped) and do about 7k if he's around level 65(mine was) and kill Sephiroth outright.

pff... only reason Cloud won was because he was the hero of the game. Reverse roles and you'd say the same exact thing about Sephiroth.

A more reasonable poll would be, who would win. Cloud or Tidus.

Break HP barrier. Break Damage barrier. If Tidus has those (and is making good use of them), then odds are on Tidus.

Beyond that, it depends too much on what Materia Cloud has, and what parts of the Sphere Grid Tidus has.

Yep. If you have those, max HP/Damage becomes 99999.

There's a Break MP barrier too, it makes the max MP 9999.

Yes, but it would take alot of work. Also, something that adds a % bonus to your HP would be needed, I think.

The damage might not be constantly that high for regular attacks, but it can get up there at times.

Nah, the ball would be deflated after it was punctured on Cloud's excessively sharp hair.

As for Cloud vs. Sephiroth, Cloud of course, because the good guy always wins at the end of an RPG.

On HP you have to replace ALL the HP spheres on the grid with 300+ (they're stock 200+) wich gets you up to like 67k HP. To get the remaining HP you need to use a HP +30%/HP +10% on an armor item.

There are guides out there for "ultra maxing" characters.

Sephiroth would beat Cloud's spiky ass DOWN.

And in a Cloud vs. Tidus fight, Tidus would own Cloud hardcore. Tidus has access to the Sphere Grid, and could smack Cloud about with a Holy if he so desired. Or, well, anything.

Depends upon whose Cloud. My Cloud is level 99 with maxed stats. I can kill One Winged Angel Seph in ~1 min using 4x Slash only.
