I have to say...From the first time I played it, until now, FFT has been my favourite game on all platforms...but I think Disgaea might have toppled it.

It is refreshing to see a game with some challenge, though. I'm enjoying it thoroughly, though "Mid-boss" has beaten me soundly thus far.
That there are so many other things to do while leveling up characters and earning new vassals makes the difficulty much more bearable.
Sadf find out that Killing one ally screws you over from getting the 'good' ening. Luckily I found out that there is a new game plus
Only on the third or so stage of the first area, I run through every one I clear a few times to level up characters. Going faster as I pick up on all the little tricks, like knocking a monster down to 2hp, then getting a few piss weak characters to combo it to death, and they all get the xp 
The "DOOD!#^%" shouting penguins are cool, but I doubt I am going to keep them around for very long. I am going to get a squad full of axe toting bulldykes, and call it spiffy
