I used to have X-Men #12, the first appearance of the Juggernaut. But that was years ago , my mom threw it away when we moved out of New York.

Well it's an annual, from what I can tell from your picture. And it looks like it's from the most recent reboot of the series from a few years back. Worth holding on to, but right now, I'd say 20 bucks tops. If I had my recent issues of Wizard Magazine unpacked, I'd confirm that.

My advice would be to hang on to it.

I have The Hulk #1 (Not worth too much I think. My uncle gave it to me,and got it about 20 years back) and Spawn #1. Bling bling.

Was just gonna say that Deth... it's a #2 annual issue from 93, it's not the #2 issue of the X-men series itself. Though a 10 year old comic in near mint condition can be worth something down the line

Funnily enough, comic books wouldn't be such a collector's item if all those moms hadn't thrown them away.

Heh. I watched that history of the comicbook special on the history channel.. That shit is interesting, yo!

Not sure about Hulk, but Spawn is in a constant state of flux. Assuming you got it at a comic shop (and not in one of those prepackaged deals sold at Toys R Us or whatever), Spawn #1 has a lot of variable value. Fact is...Image comics is dying, McFarlane has delusions of grandeur, and the comic went in some bizarre directions.

That having been said, Spawn is more or less what kicked it off (barring some of McFarlane's work on Spider-Man, which is sought after stuff), so the Spawn #1 is probably worth some money. Not oodles, but still.

I've got a mint condition Spawn #1 that I got from a comic book shop back when it was only worth $13 as an investment.

Should I find a buyer NOW, or keep it for like ten more years? heh.

I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

Eh...depends on if the comic tanks or not.

I'm keeping my Spawn. You could find a buyer now and sell for probably les than 100, or keep it a few years, risk it, and hope it'll be worth 1000+

Even if it does tank, I'm sure you'll still be able to find a market for it.

Spawn #1 doesn't seem that hard to get. I spent $20 or so on mine about a year or two back, and the three nearest comic stores all had it.

Im not all knoledgable in the ways of comic book pricing, but honestly thatjust looks like something youd find in the doller box at a convention

not sure if that particular one is special, but i spent hours yesterday organizing and moveing around said doller boxes, and their was lotsa shit much older then 92, and tons of anuals, wholesale per book they where litarly selling for less then 10 cents (boss said average is 27 dollers for a box of 300 comics
