It's a cute little game, but when it became a fad it was milked like a, um... cow... with lots of milk. Shit. I used to be an English major, too.

At the end of Silver, my Umbreon beat the shit out of half of Ash's pokemon by himself, and they outleveled him by 10-20 levels. He kicked the snot outta that damn Pikachu.

I have the same versions as Waisz. Beat Red and Blue, got bored to heck with Yellow, beat gold and silver in japanese roms, so I got bored with the english version of gold and silver.

Stopped playing gold around 2 years ago and never picked up the games since, I get bored with them too fast.

I played Red and Blue entirely too much, finished Yellow with some difficulty, and have yet to get very far in Crystal, despite several attempts.

I always liked the pokemon games (game boy games, that is. None of that "Hello Pikachu!" or Pokemon Snap shit...) but I hated everything that they spawned.

Have and played Silver and Ruby.

Have and have only played enough to snag starting Pokemon off of Blue and Saphire.

I actually bought a gameboy a few years ago, just so I could see what all the fuss about Pokemon was. Eventually I just got sick of it and sold the game and the gameboy.

Half a year ago I got a copy of pokemon from a friend to see what the fuzz is all about.

Oh My God... I'm too old for this stupid crap. Like 20 years too old.
6 years old cannot read properly, so they apparantly do not need or deserve a storyline either. Man, was this game repetive and boring. Words cannot express the giant levels of "BORING" and "SIMPLE" that games was oozing out of the cartridge.

Tried the gameboy pokemon games when my brother played them, but couldn't get into it.

However I have enjoyed the pokemon stadium games for nintendo 64. They amuse me for some reason.

i had Pokemon Blue and my brother had Red... but we didn't have link cables. i don't know where Blue went, but i have Yellow now and i think i could find Red if i looked hard enough. the trick is getting me to play.
