Back on at 11:30pm on Adult Swim, starting tomorrow. Thank god.

That Home Movies show was horrible.

I didn't know it was gone.

From the Adult Swim line-up, anyways.

I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

Home movies is cool.

It does take some getting used to though

It looks like shit and it isn't funny.

The fat episode was pretty funny. "The first rule about Fat Club is, you don't talk about Fat Club. The second rule of Fat Club is...uhhh..."

I think they were trying to go for a sort of cartoon Seinfeld. That's a hard act to follow, though, and Home Movies proved it.

I don't find home movies bad, but I won't go out of my way to watch it (Like I would for FLCL/Big O.)

Edit: This isn't a sigtest. Nope. Sure isn't.

home movies is the 2nd or 3rd show from the makers of dr kats I think. I never found any of it to be funny nor did I like the art sytle.

Home Movies kind of grows on you. But like Delphi, I don't go out of my way to watch it. Some episodes are very funny, while others are completely not funny.
I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piƱa coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

Home Movies was occasionally hit-or-miss, but on the whole, I loved it. I like Futurama, and anything that brings more ratings in for Adult Swim is damn sure fine by me, but I find myself worrying that it'll fall into the Simpsons-esque position of being the show stuck there to maintain viewer support, constantly running itself over and over again.

It seems to me that the ideal Adult Swim schedule should have shows rotating with series' ends. Like, Trigun just ended again last night; it'd be nice to see them take Trigun out of rotation and run, say, Cowboy Bebop in its stead, and once THAT series is over, to put, say, Inuyasha back in, etc. Put mainstay shows like Futurama and Family Guy on first, then the hype shows like FLCL and Blue Gender (I'm sorry, folks, I'm not digging it), and dedicate the last timeslot to the serials.

...oh. They're starting Cowboy Bebop again tonight.

Well, never fuckin' mind.

Yay, bye bye Home movies.

How long does it take to draw one episode of that? 20 minutes?

12, they reuse the footage from old episodes if they can, don't give them too much credit.

I liked both Dr Katz and Home Movies too.

And Home Movies isn't gone from AS, it's just moved to Sundays.

As glad as I am about Futurama being back...

WHY DID THEY SWITCH FAMILY GUY'S TIME SLOT?!?! 10:30 was perfect for me to stall getting off the computer at 10 (upstairs near parents room, can't disturb them) and make it down by 10:22 to make a snack for family guy!

I am very very disturbed and upset by this and demand great justice!

or a computer in my room so it doesn't matter...

Convince your parents to buy a Tivo. Then you won't need to worry about showtimes. Just watch it whenever you want to.

All times are US/Eastern
