I'm looking for mostly sad stuff, that's where I am (that and I have a lot of angry music as it is).

I already have in my collection:

REM - Everybody Hurts
Jewel - Foolish Games
Ozzy - Goodbye to Romance
The Everly Brothers - Born Yesterday.

I'd appreciate any other suggestions.

What happen.

Should've done something, but I've done it enough
By the way your hands were shaking
Rather waste some time with you

Should've said something, but I've said it enough
By the way my words were faded
Rather waste some time with you...

There have been problems for a while. But my husband declared last night out of the blue he hates me cannot stand being near me, seeing me, or coming home at night from work.

Counseling is a good thing.

P.S. PM me if you want specific suggestions. I went through a similar hell not too long ago.

Oh my God.

I'm speechless, heh...
I'm so sorry, that's so harsh.

I've always liked the song "Breakdown" by Mariah Carey (the remix is fine, too)... Don't judge so fast!, it's a really great song.

I've always been partial to "Sticks and Stones" by Alien Ant Farm.

I played it many times when my old lady fooled around me and caused me to go batshit loco.

Metallica - Die, die die my Darling
Life... is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this undefinable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-crunching nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers.

Well if you must, there's this one from Great Big Sea:

How Did We Get From Saying ‘I Love You’...
Released May 1997
(written by Doyle)

‘It was a cold day for September’,
was all I thought to say
When I saw you on the street the other day
Something’s changed between us,
all the talk we made was small
What do you say to someone when they’ve heard you say it all?
It’s an awkward conversation,
in a most peculiar way...

Chorus x2
How did we get from saying ‘I love you’
to ‘I’ll see you around someday’

Seems like only days ago, we had so much to say
We’d take it all for granted,
then it all gets thrown away
‘It calls for rain this afternoon’, she finally replied
There was a stuttering silence,
that I felt my mouth go dry
So we’ll talk about the weather,
cause there’s not much else to say...

Chorus x2

Has all the ice been broken,
all our surfaces been scratched
Have all our words been broken,
have we finally met our match?

Chorus x3

Also by GBS (On their album Sea of No Cares) is this one:

Clearest Indication
Released January 2002
(written by Doyle/McCann/Trapper)

You left in the morning
You left without a word
Did you get what you came for
Is this what I deserve
Oh I know the silence was the loudest thing I ever heard

Chorus
Where do we stand, what am I supposed to do
Give me the clearest indication,
that I am not alone with you
Reach out your hand, in a world I thought I knew
I need the clearest indication,
the clearest indication from you

Did we have all we wanted
And let it slip away in time
Like a country divided
Fifty-one to forty-nine, years ago
We just can’t seem to make up our mind

Chorus

Bridge
Times like these its hard to see
With any kind of clarity
What’s the point of wondering anymore
So much I just can’t figure out
I’d love to know without a doubt for sure, for sure

Chorus

The Cure. Lots of Cure. Their goodness only comes out when you're feeling like shit.

"There Is No If" "37" are some good songs. I suggest buying the Bloodflowers album. It's fantastique.

Old David Usher is good, too, but a bit obscure. "St. Lawrence River" is quite possibly the saddest song in all existance. I suggest buying "Little Songs". "Morning Glory" isn't as breakuptastic.

And sorry to hear about this. y00 need a hug, y00've always got us .

That's not good news...not in the least...jeez...

Let's see, Dexter Gordon's "I'm A Fool To Want You" should fit the mood

Dexter Gordon's "Tenderly" might fit too though...just sorta barely and that's all I can think of for you. Hope everything turns out for the best.
