Did you even try and chase him down? I would have ran after that fucker to the ends of the earth, and beat the tickets AND the money out of him. What an asshole.

So in other words, you shouldn't have given the money to the person who was going with the scalper, and he shouldn't have given the money before getting the tickets. If you're going to do something risky, the least you could do is be a little more paranoid about it. At least now you know for next time.

Soo... You gave someone money, who was doing something that is technically concidered illegal in most places, and you were offended when a seedy ticket broker took your money and ran?...

Scalpers are trying to make a profit off a persons weakness, inability to get tickets to a favorite show, etc. They are not typically moralistic people... I don't really feel sorry for anyone scammed by one.

Not illegal everywhere, but even if it's not illegal it is highly frowned apon for the serious labeled scaplers, not one of your buddies pawning off a ticket they mispurchsed or something. Either way. You made the bed...
