That's why, apart from my collection of Discovery channels, National Geographic, Cartoon Network, and sometimes Sci-Fi, I never, EVER watch basic TV. [ 06-30-2003: Message edited by: Bill ]
On network TV, it's, "Strike this guy out!" Just another miracle of modern science!
I've heard some real humdingers before, but sadly I can't remember any more.
COMPLETELY USELESS TRIVIA!
The thieves in Die Hard were supposed to be of largely German origin. However, in the German version of the movie, their origins were changed to "European."
During the day, they'll censor words that are even slightly offensive. At 6 or 7AM on the weekdays, though, you might find a naked pair of breasts on the Oxygen channel in a commercial for bras (that was a rather pleasant time to channel surf). [ 07-01-2003: Message edited by: Where's Waisz? ]
All the little tykes are assumed to be shuffled off to bed by 12 and shuffled off to school (or still asleep) by 7.
*in the interrogation room with the agent and neo*
"I've got a better idea; How about I give you the flipper." He didn't even say "and you give me my phone call.", and they censored out Neo giving the agent the finger.
Now which is going to be more traumatic on a kid? 99.9+% of people get to see boobies in this country at some point in their lives but how many people have actually seen somebody get shot?

It used to be on imdb.com, but apparently somebody lied to them.
But here's some more COMPLETELY USELESS TRIVIA!
The German spoken by the terrorists in the original version was grammatically incorrect and often didn't make any sense.

Kegwen attempted to be funny by writing:
Uh, Dogma on Comedy Central anyone?
I can top that. Blazing Saddles on the ABC Family Channel.
I mean, honestly, why even BOTHER?
Same thing goes for the little bars on those comercials. (You know the ones)
If this is true, then why do we fear it?

Liar Liar on ABC...I swear, censorship is gay, ass isn't a bad...I hear it on the Simpsons all the time, so why censor a movie, they got it all wrong.Same thing goes for the little bars on those comercials. (You know the ones)
ABC is lame, the only thing ABC ever did that was good was the time they aired Saving Private Ryan without censoring anything.
I hate editting finished, already released movies.
