Any particular goal in mind? Any particular country/culture in mind?

Right off the bat, I'd recommend Sun Tzu, The Art of War, Musashi, Book of Five Rings, and the Tao Te Ching. Not The Tao of Pooh.

Could probably be more specific if I knew what you had in mind, though.

Edit: for the record, Trillee posted while I was writing mine--I never saw it.

Well, I bought The Art of War today. I'll have to pick up the others next time I hit the book store, or borrow them from my dad (I'm not sure which he has.)

I'm not looking for anything in particular though, just general Far East Philosophy stuff. Sorry I can't be more particular. Its always been an interesting subject to me, and I want to learn as much about it as I can (and am considering a minor in Philosophy/Far East Philosphy if the college I'm going to offers it)

I'll second The Art of War and the Book of Five Rings.

Tao Te Ching is probably your best bet, then. It's the quintessential Far Eastern philosophy.

A book on Confucian philosophy; not just the analects. Confucian philosophy and the Tao Te Ching are a cornerstone to far eastern philosophy. You'll also want to look into Buddhist teachings. Covering these three will give you a very good foundation to far eastern thought. As you advance you'll actually begin to see the amalgamation of all three into each other in Asian thought.
