This is one of the coolest videos I remember from when I was a kid...the animation (partially computer controlled) blending with the live action was cool. It also had a little story to it, and I'm a sucker for a story. Very cool video; definitely worth seeing if you can download.

Why it's badass:
They used the tech used to insert Forrest Gump into all those vintage newsreels to insert the Weezer boys into an Episode of Happy Days. The song itself is pretty cool, and it's fun for the wacky retro element. 'eyyyyyyy

"Right Now," by Van Halen. Classic.
Another classic in its own right would have to be "Mr. Roboto" by Styx. 
"Sweetness," by Jimmy Eat World. This video just about buzzes with good vibes.
Another Weezer entry, "Keep Fishing." Dancing, singing muppets? Please do.
"Spin," by Lifehouse. Beauty in simplicity.
"Guilty Conscience," by Eminem and Dr. Dre. If nothing else, the video is pretty funny.
"Fell in Love With a Girl," The White Stripes. Legos? Jack White? This is good all around.
"Lucky Denver Mint," by Jimmy Eat World. That's a cool one.
Tool's "Schism" still gives me nightmares.
And you know, for the hell of it, "The Time Warp," from Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's not really a video, but I have a video of it.
Yeah, so most of these videos aren't that old. But they're still all (in my opinion) great. If not works of art, they can be highly entertaining for about 3 or 4 minutes.
Tom Petty was great in The Postman, too.
