I think this has a very good chance of being an excellent movie. I haven't seen many movies with the actors named, so I can't vouch for their acting, but the werewolf/vampire interaction strikingly reminds me of Vampire: The masquearde, and also the CG and graphics look excellent.

Also, i'm sorry, but when it comes to originality in our society, there is such a thing as using one setting for another story. Just because it's about vampires or something gothic doesnt make it "rip-off crap". I'm going to restrain myself from commenting from here.

Not anywere close - the one in X-Men was ugly in a cuddly way, this one's just ugly in an annoying way.
