I can triple A most songs with DWI with the same timing I use with Konamix (more or less, granted)... What else do you want me to say? o.O
Well, I'm sorta curious. DWI and Stepmania should have the same timing, right? Yet Tier was bitching about Stepmania's timing. When I try DWI, I miss a lot, and Stepmania doesn't have that problem.
Is Stepmania better than DWI, or vice versa? What's different between the two? Which should be used and why?
Have you tried Stepmania, BTW?
As for which is better, probably personal preference, really. I prefer DWI due to its simple, no frills interface. [ 04-24-2003: Message edited by: Ni-na ]

I tried Stepmania, back in version 2. It doesn't even use the same stepfile format now, I wouldn't be surprised it changed in the meantime. But yeah, the timing should be the same... I don't know what's up. O.o
I use Stepmania, and it works with BPS (I think that's the right extension) and DWIs.

It's actually for both. Look at the source code.
Ni-Na : If you'd like, I have Stepmania on my FTP, you could give the new version of it a try.
If you're new here, let me explain something. I run an FTP site with, hell, everything on it The FTP address is 205.208.222.10, the username is 'evercrest' and the password is 'fluffy'. You can download whatever you wish to

Actually, DWI stands for Driving While Intoxicated. DUI stands for Driving Under the Influence.
There's no Driving While Influenced.
