Duoing in PoN with a 55 Warrior and a 57 Shaman I can tell you sucks. Mobs slow ok, but they have way too much in HP. Granted trying to heal a 4k+ HP warrior with Cloro sucks ass. Might be better now that I have my 2k heal, but I'm probably gonna stick with PoJ for a while.
So uh, yea at level 50 I would expect PoN to be a tad better exp

HHK Guards. They go up into the 40's. 
Of course, there is something to be said for the availabilty of mobs and the lack of "TRAIN OF FIVE BILLION PISSED OFF MOBS TO THE ZONE!!!" in HHK that prolly make the exp flow more steady then PoN.
However killing 30+ mid-blues in an hour is better XP than killing 12 dark-blues in the sime time span. 
It's about volume at that point, not quality per mob.
hell, in PoD CYs you can get a kill a minute if you're chain pulling in a high DPS group.
of course, ALL XP is utter and total shit once you get flagged for PoV.

i'm gonna be perfectly happy getting to 62, 63-65 spells don't drop in PoV, and working on AA till i get flagged for BoT/HoH/PoTactics.
and i do solo. just not on my Cleric prolly what i'm gonna do on Monkly is duo him with a Necro buddy of mine and just fear/snare shit in either PoD/PoN. full (necro dots + pet + fear) + (Beastlord melee + Bst pet + Bst dots + gimp pre-60 slow) = ubah duo'ing right outside the CY wall in PoD or in PoN right by that big open area.
it's kinda hard to find anyone who solo'd in PoP on Xegony (cept goddamn quad kiting pink wizards in PoV) but whole loads of people duo.

Oh, that 50% hit is just SO SO SO bad! Just SO TERRIBLE. ONLY 1% AAXP a kill solo. I'd LOVE to be able to get near that solo in the pla...wait...solo in the planes?

I would never trade up grouping for soloing with charm. Its just retarted to throw away better, faster chances at getting some reward, aside from experience, for that risk your in.
