I'm thinking of remaking my Barbarian, but what should he specialize in?
It's fun shouting Diablo to death.
My barb has 34 total frenzy. two +5 swords, and the rest from other +skill items
max weapon mastery, frenzy, war cry. [ 04-06-2003: Message edited by: Falaanla Marr ]

I thought I had wasted my money on D2 until I started playing on closed battle.net, but that's just me. =/

Burst of Speed = luv [ 04-06-2003: Message edited by: Kekvit Irae ]
It all depends on how you play an Assassin. If you want to go Traps, build up for the powerful traps (I smacked down Andariel with low-level ones) as well as the Shadow Master (rox). If you are going with Martial Artist style, Cobra Strike + Burst of Speed + Darkness = luv. Blind your enemies so you only have to take on one at a time, burst of speed to increase your attack and run speed, and Cobra Strike for massive life and mana leech
Tiger Strike is highly overrated
About 8 points in burst of speed, max. It's effects get too low after that to make it worthwhile
20 Claw Mastery
At least a couple points in Death Sentry. If you get extremely high enough you can put more, but it is spectacular with just a couple points
I maxxed Shadow Master. She does downright scary damage at level 20, and she actually uses skills halfway intelligent
To sum it up, I reccommend maxxing Pheonix Strike, Claw Mastery and Shadow Master, with 8 or so in burst of speed and a couple points in death sentry
My old assassin was an absolute killing machine, could solo any area on hell difficulty no problem

No.
Burizas are slow as hell.
I have 225% ED buriza in my stash and let me assure you I don't own nearly as much with it as I do with the Windforce.
Reason? Increased Attack Speed. Crossbows are capped, whereas bows are not.
I like the freeze effect. While Im not as fast, Stuff takes forever and a day to get to me. [ 04-06-2003: Message edited by: Falaanla Marr ]
(P.S. I'm going to steal that Windy Keg! )

Sorry, hand's down, Burzia is totally owned by the WF. Try finding a Speedazon with a WF, absolutely hilarious watching them mow down heaps upon heaps of cows, of course a Javazon can do the same.(P.S. I'm going to steal that Windy Keg! )
I have a guildmate with both a windforce AND a buriza.
She uses the buriza over the windy.

Wanna bet?
And Doomie -- Im hoping all thats legit, otherwise, Im just gonna kick your ass all over.
note: about all 40/15's are duped, that isn't my problem, I paid face value for them...which adds to entirely too many SOJ's
They've got great guides, and (used to have at least) great forums.

Then that doesn't follow. The advantage of the Windforce, as I said before, is that it doesn't have a capped IAS like the Buriza does.
Something doesn't fit here.

neither has a capped IAS, however, you can get a windy down to 7 frames per arrow, whereas it's impossible to get a buriza down to fewer that 9-10 with currently available legit gear. However, if you had hacked IAS gear, you could get the buriza down to 7 frames.
As to which is best, it depends on the build. They both have situations where one is better than the other.
