I can't remember being this upset in a long time. Perhaps it is just a lot of things in the back of my mind and this kinda put me over the edge. But I swear I almost feel like crying.

I remember when my Parakeet died. That was horrible. Nowadays, I'm very hesitant getting a pet because I now that eventually they are going to die.

it's a fungus. One of the earliest signs of it is a white film over the fish's eyes. If you do decide to get new fish completely break down your tank and clean *everything* then set it up and run it for a week or two with no fish. If you do happen to see the film on future fish take a water sample to your pet store and they can test for it and give you a water treatment that will cure it.

Cleaning it now. Still kinda sad for some strange reason. Alpha fell apart when I get him with the net.. I mean. HE FELL APART!!
Sorry to hear about it all the same though. Be careful if your fiancee's eyes take on a white film, and she starts going nuts. Chances are, she's been taken over by X parasites as well
